June Construction Update at Blue Water Cay
Posted on: June 11, 2025
Progress continues across every corner of Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay as we move closer to welcoming boaters and visitors to this one-of-a-kind boating destination in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Our hurricane-rated dry storage facility which is engineered for durability and ease of use, is also taking shape. This unique structure will soon offer unmatched protection and convenience for boat owners with storage for boats up to 55 feet. Right now, steel erectors are in the last stages of placing the structural columns and boat racks before moving to the outer skin and roofing.
The shipstore building is also moving along as planned. This building will include customer restrooms, shipstore, marina dispatch, as well as other administrative offices.
The aluminum docks are fully installed, laying the foundation for world-class marina access and wet slip docking. At the same time, the dredging of the marina basin is complete and the channel dredging operations are underway, helping to ensure smooth entry and deep-water access for a wide range of vessels.
Work on the guard house and fuel infrastructure is also progressing, key pieces of the project that will contribute to the security, functionality, and full-service experience Blue Water Cay is designed to deliver.
In addition, the utility infrastructure is being constructed including stormwater and electrical facilities. The roadways are being mapped out to provide access and circulation throughout the property.
We’re excited to see momentum continuing to build as Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay increasingly takes shape. Thank you for following along—more updates to come soon.
